What can you use the app for?

ShareFile by Citrix is a secure file sharing app providing businesses with a protected portal through which they can send, receive, access and store files of all sizes. ShareFile lets you send and share files through your email, your ShareFile account, or a desktop widget.

The app uses high-level encryption and heavy duty servers to ensure your files are protected and backed-up at all times. Additional security features let you define access permissions, track changes with file versioning, and report on file activity.

Through ShareFile’s desktop widget you can upload, download and delete files without opening a web browser. You can also move files from ShareFile to your local file system with drag and drop.

Through a link on your navigational bar ShareFile lets you send business files directly from your system to an email address in one click. ShareFile also offers a plugin for Outlook that lets you attach secure ShareFile links to files, replacing email attachments. With this feature you can email files as large as 10GB.

With the help of ShareFile’s graphic design specialists, you can also set up a custom-branded, password-protected portal through which you can create online folders, access files from any internet-enabled device and use email tracking and alerts to confirm receipt of your files.

The ShareFile sync feature lets you, your clients and team members, or whoever else you give access permission to, to work in the same folders at the same time, without having to upload or download files. ShareFile also offers a mobile app for iOS, Android, Windows or Blackberry devices that lets you access and share files from any device.
